This blog will document the creation and development of Teraphase LLC, an Internet start-up company. It will start with a paper-napkin concept and trace its progress into reality. I will write about tax laws and legal ramifications, as well as obstacles, successes, and all the events in between, in hopes that someone, someday might benefit from my experiences and avoid some of the mistakes. This is an unabridged and unedited story that is still ongoing and in development. I hope your enjoy and learn something from the journey as I continue to struggle through it.
About me
My name is Dimitry Foux. I’ve matriculated from NYU Stern with majors in Finance and Information Systems and a minor in Computer Applications and have previously worked as a net admin, HTML coder, and tech support engineer. During college, I managed to land a job at a mortgage hedge fund, where I slaved away for four years, hoping to strike it rich and retire to a tropical island. When my dreams failed to come to fruition, I enrolled at the Wharton School, where I’m currently pursuing an MBA in Entrepreneurship. This blog outlines my attempt to create something that will, hopefully, become meaningful and add value to people’s lives.
